Buyer terms

Updated October 28, 2026

1. Seller and contact

The seller is PracticalAIAssistant, operating the Practical AI Assistant course website at https://practicalaiassistant.com.

Business mailing address: 1933 Riverside Drive West, Windsor, Ontario, N9B 1A7, Canada.

Support and purchase questions: kayden.knight1850@gmail.com; telephone 519 350 4539.

2. What you are purchasing

These are self-paced digital educational courses about building an assistant around an existing local model, not training a foundation model from scratch.

For new purchases, the editions are sold separately. Full does not include Essentials. You may purchase the other edition separately.

Study guides summarize course content. They do not report your actual exercise work, certify competence, or constitute an accredited qualification. The course does not include personal coaching, a custom-built assistant, hosting for your projects, or third-party paid services.

3. Price, payment, and delivery

Prices are $650 for Full and $250 for Essentials in the CAD or USD currency you select. Confirm the currency and final amount in Stripe Checkout before paying. Each purchase is a one-time charge, not a recurring course subscription. Any required taxes must be disclosed in the final checkout before payment.

Stripe processes payment information. Where offered, installment methods are subject to provider eligibility, approval, and the terms displayed at checkout; availability is not guaranteed.

After payment confirmation, an access code is sent through Resend to the email address supplied at checkout. Delayed payment confirmation or email delivery can delay access. If the code does not arrive, check spam and contact support with your checkout email and purchased edition. Do not send card details or your code.

A computer and browser are needed to use the course. Downloads can be read offline after saving. Practical exercises may require Python, a suitable local model/runtime, and compatible hardware; consult the relevant official setup instructions, licenses, and third-party costs before installing or subscribing.

4. Personal access and separate purchases

A purchase provides personal, non-transferable course access for one learner. Do not share or resell your code or redistribute the protected course materials or study guide, except where applicable law permits it. You may keep your downloaded study guide for your own reference after completion.

Keep your code private. Signing in again with a code replaces that code's previous browser session. A browser can have one purchase signed in at a time; use the other purchase's code to switch editions. Each purchase has independent progress and completion state.

Sign-in sessions expire after 30 days. Session expiry is not purchase expiry: you may sign in again while that purchase remains active.

5. Completion and permanent end of website access

For new purchases governed by completion-based access rules:

  1. Mark all required lessons complete: eight for Full or four for Essentials. Progress is self-reported, not independently graded.
  2. Select Finish course to review the final screen.
  3. Download your edition's study guide and check that the saved file opens. A read/print option is also available. The website cannot verify that your browser saved a file.
  4. Only if you are ready, select the acknowledgement and explicitly confirm completion and the permanent end of access.

Quizzes and the Full simulation are optional practice, not completion prerequisites. Reading lessons, marking every lesson complete, downloading a guide, or opening the completion page alone does not end access.

Final confirmation permanently ends this purchase's website access to lessons, quizzes, guides, and, for Full, its simulation and reference material. Its code can no longer sign in. Save anything you are permitted to retain before confirming; if unsure, choose Keep studying.

This is not a promise of lifetime hosting or permanent availability of the website. Contact support if an access or service problem prevents you from using your purchase; applicable consumer remedies remain available.

Original purchases retain their original access rules. These completion-based restrictions and separate-edition changes are not applied retroactively to purchases made under the earlier rules.

6. Refunds and consumer rights

Refund requests are reviewed individually without a general money-back guarantee or fixed voluntary request window. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. The same policy applies to both editions.

See the refund policy for how to request help. Completion or these terms do not remove cancellation, refund, or other rights provided by applicable consumer law.

7. Educational scope and responsible use

The material is educational, not professional advice or a guarantee of security, income, business success, or compatibility with future APIs. Passing course tests does not certify a production deployment. Review software, permissions, credentials, provider terms, and security before connecting real accounts or exposing your own services.

Use fictional data for exercises. Never submit passwords, payment details, private access codes, or other credentials as exercise content.

8. Privacy, marketing, and questions

The website privacy notice describes purchase, sign-in, progress, and email data handling. Marketing signup is separate and optional; a course purchase does not enroll you. Confirmed subscribers may unsubscribe without affecting their course access or necessary purchase/access emails.

Contact the seller above about these terms or an unresolved purchase issue. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.
